Well. It's been well over a year since my accident happened and I had my final check-up with the doctor today.
Unfortunately it wasn't all good news. Yes, I'm mobile now and I can walk, but I still have some lingering difficulties and pain resulting from the injury. The doctor even thinks there might be some early onset of arthritis in the leg which might be contributing to the pain.
Under the advice of the doctor, I'm officially retiring from Pro Action Dueling. It's not the way I would've wanted to go out, but there isn't a lot that can be done with that. I just have to smile and move forward the best I can.
